Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead, inspire, and develop our team by taking full responsibility for people management — from recruitment and training to performance, wellbeing, and creating a culture where everyone can thrive.
Act as a coach to the nursing, administrative, and clinical support teams, identifying individual strengths and areas for growth.
Build a supportive, high-trust environment where staff feel safe to innovate, learn from mistakes, and thrive.
Implement structured 1:1s and personal development plans (PDPs) that align staff aspirations with the practice’s goals.
Handle team dynamics with high emotional intelligence, ensuring a harmonious and collaborative "one-team" atmosphere.
Champion excellence across the practice by working closely with the Practice Partner to ensure we not only meet, but exceed, all regulatory and safety standards (including CQC, NHS, and Health & Safety).
Take ownership of the practice’s financial integrity by overseeing all banking processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and smooth management of NHS claims through practice systems.
Be a driving force behind outstanding patient care, shaping a seamless and personalised journey that consistently delights and exceeds expectations.
Play a key role in the day-to-day success of the practice, proactively supporting all aspects of operations to keep everything running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
